At 2 weeks old our young Quail continue their journey on Country Chick Crumbs + Avatec. Containing 19% protein this food is perfect for Quail aged 2 weeks and is used alongside grower pellets in the transition to the larger 2mm pellet.
At 3 weeks old the Quail move onto Quail Grower Pellets 2mm to finish. Avatec is no longer included in the feed and the birds will finish thair growth cycle until slaughter or layer designation.
Growth rate is rapid until five weeks of age, thereafter it slows down and adult weight is achieved at about 50 days.
